Homemade paper without the use of a screen


The materials you will need
·      Paper
·      Water
·      Blender
·      Large plastic lid with a defined outline/ baking tray
·      Sheet of plastic or parchment
·      Sponge
·      Iron
·      Hair dryer

Method to making to paper
·      Prepare the paper by tearing or shredding
·      Place the paper into a mixing bowl
·      Add water
·      Allow to soak over night
·      Place the wet paper into the blender
·      Blend the mixture until it represents paper pulp
·      Lay the sheet of plastic onto the plastic lid of baking tray
·      Place the pulp onto and spread across the surface area, push it right up to the edges to create a smooth edge with the outcome of the paper.
(NOTE add more water to thin out the paper pulp to create a thinner paper)
Method to drying the paper
(there are a few methods you can use for drying the paper)
1.     Leave the pulp to dry over night
2.     Place a loosely woven material/silk/parchment over the top and use a sponge on top to remove the liquid
3.     Place a loosely woven material/silk/parchment and use a hot iron to remove the moisture
4.     Use a hair dryer
