Flat Pack Furniture System
This second example of a flat pack furniture design comes from designer Keiji Ashizawa. Again, inspired by the Japanese origami technique, these designs is made completely out of one thin sheet of steel. Ranging from chairs, to shelves, to magazine holders, these designers have looked at the design system and fixtures of furniture itself, which make these designs individual and decorative in both their flat appearance, and their functional appearance.
