These paper and fabric speaker experiments are constructed
by passing a “5-9V amplified sound signal” through a “conductive coil in close
proximity to a magnet”. Unlike normal speakers, the coil is presented 2
dimensionally, creating a flat speaker and therefore saving space.
The great numbers of samples display a decorative
element to the technology and offer ideas for potential development for our
pop-up speaker range.
