Origami Sofa

This is a great example of space saving furniture in an origami style. This great design easy to assemble and looks great in any sized space.
"Yumi Yoshida, a Japanese designer living in America, has come up with a brilliant concept. She designed a sofa that folds like origami. Yoshida created what is essentially a folding rug, one that is pre-folded into the shape of a sofa. When not in use, it can be folded and put away in a little corner, giving you the extra space you need, or it can be flattened out and used as a rug. The colors of the sofa are gray and orange. When used as a sofa, it's gray. Lay it on the floor as a rug and the orange side will show. Pretty cool."

It may include colours which do not fit with the theme of your living room, however, when in such a small space of living, someone may not care about colour scheme. It is comfortable, portable, has a double function and can be easily put away when it is not needed, which is perfect for people in much smaller homes with not much floor space. It is also bringing the ancient Japanese art of origami into the modern world, possibly creating a brand new trend.
