Conductive Tape

The electromagnetic coil in a flat speaker can be created using conductive tape. This can be made from “copper” or “aluminum” as both are great conductors. Some tape is “self adhesive” meaning that it can be directly applied to our material, paper.

The conductive tape brought for sampling is a “single conductive copper foil tape”. In comparison to the cost of conductive paint and thread, the tape was a lot cheaper. From an online supplier, the tape was £3.59 for 5mm * 50m of the self adhesive tape.
